These handmade ceramic seals by Joanne Robey perfectly capture the blubbery charm and relaxed spirit of the seals you’ll see basking on the rocks off Glengarriff and Garnish Island in West Cork. Each seal has its own unique personality — some cheeky, some calm — all beautifully full of life.

Every piece is hand-sculpted, glazed, and fired in Joanne’s home in Bandon, Co. Cork. The glazes and shapes vary naturally, just as every real seal has its own markings and quirks. No two are ever exactly alike, making each one a one-of-a-kind creation.

The seal you receive will be similar to the one pictured, but may not be the exact same one. We have a small selection, and each has its own individual finish and expression. This seal is approx. 23cm from head to tail.

Joanne’s love of animals shines through in every sculpture, and animal lovers adore her work for its warmth, charm, and craftsmanship. Returns within Ireland

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging in good condition. 

Gift Vouchers are non-returnable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns outside of Ireland

To return your product from outside of Ireland, you must first email us at info@craftshopbantry.com. Your return must be approved and given a return number. PLEASE DO NOT POST BACK YOUR ITEM WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING US.

Refunds (if applicable) 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. We will do this imiditally but the credit may take up to 10 days to reach your account.  

Exchanges (if applicable)

Breakages and discrepancies

In the rare event of an item arriving broken or where there are incorrect items or items missing from your order, please contact us immediately either by emailing info@craftshopbantry.com or call +353 27 50003.

If something is broken we will request a photograph of the damage and damage packaging. The easiest way is to e-mail us on info@craftshopbantry.com  or call +353 27 50003 

You must notify us within 2 days of having received a damaged or incorrect order.
